Symbian Anna, the much anticipated OS update is now available

Symbian Anna, the latest update for the Symbian 3 smartphones is now available for download. Though the update was available via Navifirm 2 days back, it is now officially available.

Symbian Anna brings you the updated and refreshed UI, Icons, Split-screen keyboard, enhanced Nokia Maps, Updated and better Browser and many more additional features.

User interface: Symbian Anna brings a fresh new look and feel to the Nokia N8, Nokia C7, Nokia C6-01 and Nokia E7 with crisp icons and multiple usability enhancements. Typing on the touchscreen is much easier with a split screen, so you can see message threads, webpages, contacts or email view while typing on the virtual QWERTY keypad – now also available in portrait mode.

Symbian Anna can be downloaded via Ovi Suite or Over the air. Even though it comes with User Data Preservation, do take a backup before the udpate. Have fun.
