One great evening and time well spent

After talking about the history and tasting notes, just wanted to share one story.

It was one fine day when I was busy and he called me up to chat up with me. He sounded like having one of the worst possible times and had been passing through a rough time. It definitely needed some unwinding. So we decided to catch up over the Friday evening.

On the Friday, we met up near my office and decided to head over to his favorite bar in the nearby 5-star hotel. We both needed a much required break from our daily routine and both wanted to spend some time chatting up sharing the rough times we had. Both of us were of the same age group and on the verge of getting married. Folks at my place were looking for a suitable bride and his had already found one for him. They were quite fast.

He decided to order his favorite Black Dog 21 YO Scotch Whiskey on the rocks. He loves to take it easy especially when he is having his favorite International Scotch. I ordered myself a soft drink to accompany him. Once we took the first sip, we felt bit relaxed and started to share the past few weeks journey. Somehow, Black Dog scotch gave him peace and he always used to have it when he was tensed so that he can relax and release his tension.

I wondered, what made him to be a fan of Black Dog. His answer was simple. An International Brand, which managed to last over 130 years and from the Scottish highlands over and across the International Borders. Also, he loved the intense amber gold colour with shimmering highlights. Taste wise, it was Bold and Magnificent  This outstanding blend must be given the reverence and respect it richly deserves. Intense flavors of Seville oranges, ripe sweet mangoes and ginger spice reward the palate, and then whispers of bitter chocolate, liquorices and crushed almonds drift lovingly on. When checked with Aroma, Soft peaches and ripe citrus fruits coupled with pear, marzipan and bergamot begin this flirtatious fanfare. He ended up saying its one of the world’s finest Scotch Whiskey.

I couldn’t have argued after listening to his description. I felt that he is one person living in style!
