Meizu MX5, device with great specs and price
Meizu has unveiled their flagship device MX5. This device comes with some of the specs which are great. As with most of the chinese players, Meizu has been able to keep the price of this device low for a device with good specs.
The device comes with 64-bit Helio X10 Turbo Octa-Core Mediatek processor, 3 GB RAM, 5.5” Samsung AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, Storage of 16/32/64 GB, Dual SIM Capabilities. It also packs Sony’s 20.7 MP camera module for the rear with dual LED flash and combines it with laser autofocus. There is a 5MP shooter at the front, which should help the selfie crazy folks.
Looks wise, the phone has a sleek unibody metal frame design and is 7.6mm in thickness. Fingerprint scanner, fast charging technology takes their place in the specs sheet. It packs 3150mAh battery which should be good enough for daily driver.
It runs on Meizu’s customized Android, Flyme v4.5 promising ease of use and speedy response from the device.
As mentioned above, the device comes at a lower price tag which is 1800 yuan or $290 for the base version and $387 for the top end model.
The device is expected to be available in China to start with and availability elsewhere is yet to be known.
