Intel Compute Stick is now available in India from Flipkart and iBall
Devices come in various form factor which can run operating systems. Intel compute stick now enables HDMI Display or monitor into a fully functional computer.
Introduced earlier this year in US, the Intel Compute Stick is powered by 1.8GHz Intel Atom Quad Core processor, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11bgn, USB port 2.0 and a micro SD card slot for additional storage. The device comes in two flavors
1) Windows 8.1 – Pre-installed with Bing and Windows 8.1, comes with 32 GB storage and 2GB RAM.
2) Linux – Pre-installed with Ubuntu 14.04 comes with 8GB storage and 1GB RAM.
The Intel® Compute Stick will serve as a new standard for stick computing devices which are enabled to deliver a mini-PC experience with full-size performance, reliability and complete ease. This new computing device has been optimized to get most of out the Intel Compute stick to perform the regular tasks such as videos, music, games and spreadsheet/presentation.

iBall on the similar lines also recently announced iBall SpeIndo PC-on-stick which runs Windows 8.1 and has Intel Atom Quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
