How to Root Motorola Droid Bionic with Android 2.3.4
Here is a short tutorial in place for you guys who own Motorola Droid Bionic and want to root the device. If you ask me why rooting?, the answer is simple. If you want to get the administrator access to your device, which will help you to do a lot more like remove un-necessary apps, use ShootMe, Titanium Backup and other apps.
Motorola Droid Bionic with Android 2.3.4 can be rooted with the steps given below.
Step 1) Download and install the Motorola Device drivers on your PC. For 64-bit. For 32-bit.
Step 2) Download MotorolaOneClickRoot_psouza4 from this link and unzip the file.
Step 3) On your Motorola Droid Bionic, goto Settings -> Applications -> Development, select USB Debugging.
Step 4) Connect Motorola Droid Bionic to the PC and select Charge Only mode option when it appears. If not, select it from your Notifications Drawer.
Step 5) Go inside the directory which is the result of Step 2 on your PC and run MotorolaOneClickRoot.exe. Follow on screen instructions.
Once its done, your device should be successfully rooted.
Note: Do not update Droid Bionic with the OTA update which is expected to be released by Motorola which will remove the rooting.
