Airtel 4G for smartphones is now available in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula
After rolling out 4G LTE for smartphones in Bengaluru, Airtel has now announced the availability in the three new cities – Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.
Manu Sood, Bharti Airtel Hub CEO – Upper North, said “We are proud to announce the launch of the much-awaited 4G on mobile, empowering residents in the region to upgrade to 4G” .
Thus now the 4G on smartphones is available in a total of 4 cities. However, Airtel 4G is available across 6 cities in India – Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.
Since Airtel’s 4G is based on TD-LTE technology, only selected devices will be able to support like Apple iPhone 5S and 5C, LG G2 4G and XOLO LT900.
